— This year the Buckeyes are
admittedly weaker than they
hav been in seven years. The
- Yellow Jackets have their
backfield of 19 and much of
their old line. They lost the
decision by -just six points-last
year, the narrowest • margin
-since Ben Copass took over the
-coachig reins at Mineta,--
The Buckeyes must out-fight
a highly primed, fully prepared
Mineola eleven that has point-
ed all season to this game.
Last_ week two teams, under-
dogs as much as the Buckeyes
will be this week, came thru
to unset their opponents, when
Baylor and T. C. U. did., the
"impossible."
1. The Longhorns sheuld win
the game in Austin as usual.
Chances are that they ’ would
win it if it were played in the
swamps of Louisiana or on the
Sahara desert. Texas would
probably win it if it were play-
ed in College Station or Kala-
mazoo.The Aggies have noth-
ing to use in the way of a
defense to stop the bruising
Texas attack. ’ /
• " /
Texas university has the
best running attack in the con-
ferenee and a good passing at-
tack.. Considering the material
at hand for a great defensive
team, Texas has the poorest
defense it has had In years.
The club is wide open for a
pass attack, and with such men
as Texas’has in the line, that
line should be'far, far strong-
er against plunges.

opinion, Hilliard is the great-
est all-around back in the con-

close second and with Wallace
apt to get more votes than
Hilliard, because he happens to
lx* playing on the best team.
The ‘Texas Aggies are practic
ing hard for the Thanksgiving
day contest with Texas* U.
They say you can never tell
what will happen when the
Longhorns and the Aggies get
together in Turkey day strife.
Still if you study the records,
you will know that if you
always pick the Longhorns to
win in Austin, you will.....lx*
right nearly alL the time, and
If you always pick the Aggies
to win at College tation, you
will be right nearly all the
time. For, the sake, of this
tradition It is, fortunate- that
the gam ikeing played in
Austjn t his year.
