pleted for a free public lecture
on Poultry and Dairying to be
given by Dr. L. D. LeGear, V. S.,
of St. Louis, Missouri, at Gilmer
on Monday night, November 26,
at 7:00 o’clock, in the County
Court House auditorium. His
subject will be “How to Make
Poultry and Dairying Profitable
Dr. LeGear is a famous Poul-
try Expert and is a nationally
known poultry authority and
Veterinarian. He graduated
from the Ontario .Veterinary
veterinarian with 86 years’ ex-
perience. His legures have been
qiven all over the United States
and Canada, under the auspices
of Chambers ’of Commerce, over
varous radio stations and at
t state and Comity Fairs.
" In this lecture Dr. eGear will
tell from his years of experience
the successful methods of rais-
ing poultry: how to get the great
. eat egg production,- especially
when prices are high; how to
successfully hatch and feed the
baby chicks; how to cure certain
poultry diseases; .hw to cull
■ flocks, the housing, caring for
and feeding of the whole flock.
He will also tell how to feed,
care for. and treat diseases of
dairy cows, -hogs, -etc. During
his lecture Dr. LeGear will give
a clinic demonstration in-which
he will dissectyseveral fowls and
conduct a post hortem examina-
tion and explaincauses of cer-
tain diseases. Follwing the tec
ture he will grant free consulta-
tions and answer auyquestions,
regarding care and treatment of
