ton to at once take necessary steps!
to protect all government posts in
the Department of Texas from
yellow fever and in order to take
care of any suspicious case of fever
that may develop work was at once
begun at Fort Sam Houston on
two mosquito cage rooms in which
suspects will be isolated from the
remainder of the garrison. The
same steps wille be taken at all
other points in Texas.
This authority was asked because
of the appearance of fever at La-
redo" near Fort Mcintosh.
