DETBOrT, Feb. 12.— Henry Ford
now employs in his major industries
here and throughout the world, 162,793
persons, it is announced by the Ford
Motor Co. Of thia number 121,214 are
employed in the manufacturing plants
of the company in the United States
and 24,238 in the American branehes.
Employes in foreign lands number 11,

In addition to those employed by the
Ford Motor Co., a total of 156,565, there
are 2,636 men employed on Ford ’a D.
"T. & I. railroad; 4282 workers in Ford-
son coal mines, 720 men at work at
■the Henry Ford trade school arid 700
' -employes at the Henry Ford hospital.
The Highland Park (Detroit) plant
remains the ace of the Fold industries
employing 68,285 men.
