leading roles will be sung by
persons who either were born,

Civic Opera singer, will take
the role of Aida. Dreda Aves
of the Metropolitan Opera 'will
sing the part pf Amneris, and
Joseph Wetzel, Amund Sjvok.
Joe Royer, Leo De Hierpolis,
George Holliman and Maria
Palleria will have other prin-
cipal roles. The Chicago Civic
Operatorchestnassaugmented by
members of the Chicago Sym-
pohny orchestr, will play.
