provided, that no jitney shall be U-
censed under the terms of this ord-
nance unless same shall be proposed
to be operated each trip over a dis-
tance of not tea* than thirty blocks.
Section 2. That Section 4 of said
ordinance bo and the same ia hereby

Section 9. Upon the great jog by, the

such license as filed or modified, and
the payment to the City Tax Assessor
and Collector of the license fee as re-
quired herein, and the filing with the
City Clerk of the indemnity bond or
policy of (nsurunce as hereinatter pro-
vided. the City Tax Aasessor and
Collector shall issue to such appli-
cent the license certifcate of the
Cty of Austin to operate or cause
to be operated as a jitney the
automobile or motor car described
in the appiication between the termini
and according to the schedule therein
stated, and between no other termini
and according to no other schedule.'

upon the face thereof, provided, the
termini and 8 hedye tn such
license certificate may be altered st
any time by order of the City Couneil
upon the application of the person
holding such license, and a fee at
one dollar nhall be charged and col-
lected by the City Tax Ansesnor and
Collector therefor: provided further,
that the City Council may at any
time after the issuance of such license
suspend or revoke the same in its dis-
<eretion for any of the reasons get out
in Sections 5 and 24 of this ordinance..
■nd if such license be revoked shall at’
the same time refund to the licensee
the value of the unearned p rtion of
such license
Hec. 8. That Section 2 of said ord-
nance be and the same is hereby
amended so as to hereafter read as
follows
