As usual at most Washington
parties, politics reared its head.
"Politics,” said Faulkner, "is a
form of behavior with Republicans.
With Democrats. it‘s an activity.
Like poker or raccoon hunting,
it’s a game you play and have
fun at.”
The men took the fashion pri-
zes. Morris Cafritz, wealthy real-
tor, husband of hostess Gwen, wore
bright orange trousers, plaid shirt,
tan jacket. An admiral in civvies
wore a flaming red jacket with
grey trousera. Former Washing-
ton Republican Sen. Harry Cain
wore an ice-cream suit with black
shirt, while Australian Ambassador
Percy Spender and former Navy
Secretary John L. Sullivan doffed
’ their coats and sat around in their
shirt sleeves.

Rockhill, northeast of Denton,
will take a trip into Denton
County's past next week when
the Rockhill Baptist Church
opens its revival.
Brush arbor revivals were as
common as Indians in the
early days of Denton County
but it has been several years
since church members have
gathered under one of the
"roof and poles” meeting
places.
But the Rev. N. L. Looper;
pastor of Rockhill Baptist,
says, ‘‘.We want to get as
many people out as possible."
That's why the church will
hold its revival under one of
the old-time brush arbors.
The Rev. C. L. Bryant, pas-
tor of the Seagoville First Bap-
tist Church, will peak during
the meetings, which begin at
7:45 p m. each evening. Mrs.
N L. Looper will'have charge,
