The group will press for all parts
of the Texas Farmers Union pro-
gram but will principally ask for
100 per cent of parity for all farm
commhodities and will ask repeal
of the sliding scale parity, Alex
Dickie Jr., president of the union,
said today. The delegates will
“vigorously oppose" a recent rec-
ommendation to reduce the kotton
price in Texas by substituting base
on cotton from seven-eights inch to
a one-inch base, he said. -
They expect to arrive Sunday to
spend five days in the capital
where they will contact all of the
Texas Congressmen and also sev-
eral congressmen from other
states.
President of the National Farm-
ers Union, James G. Patton, to-
day urged the Senate Agriculture
Committee to oppose President
Eisenhower's recent recommenda-
tion to reduce the parity price of
cotton by three cents per pound
through eliminating seven-eighths
inch cotton as the official grade.

PARKHOUSE
Contnued From Page 1
“He was with mo merely to in-
troduce me," Lee said.
“I don't really want to get mixed
up to this but no investigation
would hurt W er George (Park-
house!.”
Loe said Parkhouse got a $1200
loan from the insurance company
in October, 1952.
“He was not a director at that
time," Lee sold, “or connected
with the company. It was strictly
a mortgage loan and of the same
type I would make to you or any-
one ele,"
Parkhouse eaid the loan was se-
cured by property in Dellas for
which he has been offered as much
as 85 000 and that he paid 6 par
cent interest.
. “I paid tt back at a month
for 36 months," Parkhouse said.
“And I made the last payment on
Oct. 7, 1955."
In Dallas, Parkhouse said:
"For 16 years in the Legislaure
I have cosistently voted forbills
to strengthen the formation of com-
panies and to regulate the sale of
st octo; both for insurance compa-
nies and everybody else. I am
proud of my legislative record.”

10. SHUFFLE means to shift

the robbers' efforts to get away
from police. SCUFFLE means a
fight and"is leu descriptive of the
attempt to flee.
13. PREVENT is better. It e
juvenile delinquent is rehabilitat-

committing a murder and becom-

from happening Social workers

a juvenile delinquent will PRE-

solved.
