Members of the Underwood Home Demonstration Club have
been told to for the club's annual Christmas party Monday at 2
p.m. in the clubhouse
Inexpensive gifts will be exchanged under a lighted Christmas
tree and those bringing children have been requested to provide
a gift for them. The club will assemble boxes of clothing the mem-
bers made during a meeting last month for a family of nine. The
gift of clothing will be presented this month.

A Christmas theme was carried
out in decorations and refresh-
ments. A lace covered table was
centered with an arrangement of
nreenery and Christmas orna-
ments.

Another slightly more complicat-
ed design requires stencil paper
which coots four cents a sheet,
tempera paint which is 15 cents
a bottle, a 25 ■ cent package of
glitter, a 35, - cent package of gold
bronzing powder and oil base
liquid costing 35 cents per bottle.
This design is done by stenciling
patterns on blank greeting cards
which cost 10 cents each. When
bought by the box, cards are con-
siderably cheaper. Approximate
total cost for 20 finished cards is
93. This is what Miss Millar re-
commends:

man's Club will meet Tuesday at
the Texas Power & Light Club-
room. The program will feature
modern methods of cooking and
home freezing, presented by Miss
Margaret Rodezrick. supervisor of
home service of the TP&L Co. of
Dallas, and Mrs. Joe Pearson,
home service advisor for Decatur
and Gainesville.

members and guests were present

program.
