BULLETIN DEADLINE: All articles and items for the Bulletin must be
in writing and submitted to Cantor Dean by the 15th of the month.
SISTERHOOD SHABBATON: I’m looking forward to seeing all of you at our
first annual Shabbaton on December 4th. We’re going to have a catered
Kiddush-luncheon and, of course, the Sholosh Seudah, plus the work-
shops for the adults and professional programming and activities for
the children. The cost will be $13.00 per adult, $5.00 for children
ages 13 to 18, and free to all children 12 and under. This Shabbaton
will be exciting as well as spiritual for the entire family. Reserva-
tions are a MUST. Please call the Synagogue Office, 723 3850.
GENERAL MEETING AND PROGRAM: Wednesday, Dec. 8th at 7:30 p.m.
Our next general meeting and program will be held at the home of
Sharyn and Dr. Max Mintz, 4438 Wigton (729 4982). Dena Brody
will speak on "Interior Designs for the Home”. This promises to be
a very informative and interesting program. I hope to see you all
at this meeting-program.
MELAVE MALKA: Saturday, December 18th at 8:00 p.m.
Our next Melave Malka will be held on December 18th at 8:00 p.m.
A delightful program is being planned. More information will be
forthcoming soon.
TODAH RABAH - MANY THANKS! Many thanks go to Randee and Lester
Smolensky for the use of their lovely home for our Book Review
and meeting on November 1st. Many thanks to Martha Weisberg for
once again preparing the delicious luncheon for the Houston Rab-
binical Association’s meeting which was hosted by our Synagogue
on November 18th.
