Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Marshall.
84, a resident of Pilot Point for
the past 63 years, died at 1 p.m.
Tuesda yin a local hospital fol-
lowing an illness of several years.
Funeral services will be conduct-
ed Thursday at 10 a.m. in the
Pilot Point Church of Christ by
Roy C. Williams, minister of Far-
mers Branch Church of Christ;
Vernon Moody, minister of Pilot
Point Church of Christ and Rev.
John Robert, minister of the Na-
zarene Church in Pilot Point.
Mrs. Marshall was born Dec. 11.
1171 in Shreveport, La. She was
married to the late Jim Marshall
at Ardmore, Okla. In November,
1891. She was a member of the
Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, J. T.
Marshall of Pilot Point; two daugh-
ters. Mrs. George Summers of Den-
ton and Mrs. Leslie Shafer of Far-
mers Branch; 13 grandchildren and
nine great grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Masonic
Cemetery at Pilot Point under the
direction of Smith Funeral Home.

sentatives and citizen of Bonham,
will attend a "get-together" sup-
per in the basement of the Prosper
Methodist Church Saturday at 7

at the recent Prosper Homecoming

High bidder of four firms bidding
on the meter was Neptune Meter
Company with a bid of 9780.
BAH Lumber Company, Den-
ton, received the bld award for
bridge form lumber, submitting
two low bids of 810.50 each for two
sloes of lumber. The only other
bidder was Waples Painter Com-
pany, Denton, with bids of 811.10
and 811.80
On the recommendation of Mar-
via Nichols, of the Fort Worth
engineering consultant firm of
Freese A Nichols, the commission-
ers approved awards of a con-
tract for wash water pumps to
Allis-Chalmers at $4,542.
An emergency expenditure of
around $300 was approved when
Mayor J. L. Yarbrough doctored
an emergency. The emergency wee
declared when Finance Director
C. C. Orr, Jr., told commissioners
that a pump on one of the fire
trucks broke down Tuesday while
on a pass fire run to Argyle. Oar

CELINA — Services were held
Sunday in the Bethel Baptist
Church near Celina, for Mrs. Rob-
ert A. Willis of McKinney. Mrs.
Willis died Nov. 29.
She is survived by her hueband,
a son, Eugene M. Elliot, now serv-
ing in the Air Force in London.
England; her father, J. R. Phil-
lips Sr. of Van Alstyne; two sis-
ters. Mrs. J. H. Vickers and Mrs.
Hugh B. Peterson of Celina; Sev-
en brothers, and several nieces
and nephews.
Rev. W. J. Epting of Sherman
and Rev. Robert A. Lillard, who
is Chaplain of the Gaston Hospital,
Officiated at the service.
Pallbearers were her brothers:
