Mercury alone in its field gives you a body designed specifically for just one car. Other manu-

lowest priced makes. That's why Mercury alone is so easy to get in and out of. Why Mercury
alone can cut the center hump in half and provide decent cushioning and stretch-out room for
six (not four) passengers. That’s why Mercury is the one “better car” that gives you a full

AFL-CIO to planning to underline
America’s unemployment problem
will be along more spectacular
lines as urgec by Reuther It
probably won't be the mass march
of unemployed Reuther first pro-
posed. but it will likely be more of
a show than the strictly legislative
conference of union officials
Meany advocated.
The revolt had boiled for a week
behind the scenes of the annual
winter meeting of the AFL-CIO
Executive Council. It began when
Meany—head of the old AFL -

Economic Policy Committee while
Meany was delayed in Washington
by a cold. Meany was reported
angry at Reuther's unemployment

Reuther, chairman of the eco-

Meany had never attended eco-
