ST. PETERSBURG, July 14.—King
Victor Emanuel of Italy made his offi-
cial entry into this city today and was
welcomed by the civil and military au-
thorities. The burgomaster handed
the king the traditional silver plate
with bread and salt. After inspectins
the troops, the king proceeded to the
cathedral and laid a massive silver
wreath on the tomb of Alexander III.
