ber of "The Sunday Clipper" will
make its bow to the readers <»f Texas.
The enterprise is under the eficint
management of Mr. George W. Men-
dell, Jr., long a well known newspaper
man of Texas. The field covered by
the Clipper will be political, social and
literary, and it will be an bright and
entertaining magazine. The social
news will be edited by Mrs. George
Mendell, Jr., and the club news will
be under the charge of Miss Ella Ful-

favorably known to the laies of Aus-
tin. has opened a millinery parlor at

soth birthday Thursday. Several of
her old friends and neighbor*, know-

by surprising the dear old lady. So

ing with them an abundance of cakes,
