Seed Crushers’ association are hold-
Ing a three days’ session here. Wei-
doming addresses and the reports of
Secretary Robert Gibson of Dallas and
Treasurer R. K. Irwin of Waxahachie,

Blum. Mr. Pogue was elected tempo-
rary chairman, and E. J. Cosgrove of
Venus wascelecied temporary chair-
secretary.
The resolutions adopted ask Texas
congressmen to secure an increase of
pay for fourth class postmasters, it
was recommended that a committee of
three be appoini d by the National
League, assembled at St.- Louis, which
committee shall appear before the con-
gressional committee on postoffices
and post roads and recommend that a
bill be passed by congress covering a
general allowance for fourth class
postmasters’ rent, light, fuel and mis-
cellaneous expenses.
The resolutons request that the civil
service be extended to fourth class 1
postmasters. ।
It was decided that the name of the
associaticn shai! be the State League
of Fourth Class Postmasters of Texas.
The permanent officers are; Oscar
Pogue of Blum, president; E. J. Cos-
grove of Venus, first vice president,
Mrs. Mary Egbert of Woodbury, second
vice president; W. A. McElroy of Buda.
Hays county, secretary, and B. J. Nagle
of Prosper, treasurer and assistant
secretary. The time and place of next
meeting was left to the officers.
