Four quarantine restrictions imposed
upon the state of Texas by Oklahoma
in regard to shipment of cotton and
cottonseed for milling and commercial
purposes because of activities of the
boll weevil in Texas, have been par-
tially removed. It was announced today
by John A. Whitehurst, president of
the state board of agriculture.

City Attorney Rector was instructed

the various clauses of the city's traffic

After scanning the long list of ad-
vertisements, we finally decided in
favor of attending the services of the
“Psychical Research Society,” which
also spoke of messages, but no raps.
The meeting was to be held in the
G. A. R. Hall, which sounded conserv-
ative and reliable, so, accompanied by
a good natured Detroit business man,
we started forth in search of it, in the
hope of obtaining some really live gos-
sip from the-next world.
The hall proved to be a worn and
