THE BACKWARD LOOK
I remember-
When people had nowhere to go
but home.
When women had to lift their
skirts when they crossed a muddy
street.
When women donned long, flow-
ing riding habits and rode side-
saddle.

Our fisherman friend up the
street says the finny tribe is becom-
ing too "persnickular". They turn
up their nose at the old-fashioned
angleworm to consider only the most
lurid of mechanical bait. With plen-
ty of water in the lakes once more
the elusive fish seem to be slow
to leave their happy home.

“Will the cars have roads to run
on?” asks the Fort Worth Star- Tele-

important is, where can we park
our car when it is not running.
