guests were greeted at intervals
from 2 till 4:30 was impressive
with the guest- register and the ;
refreshment table. The former
was presided over by Mrs. J. B.
Salmon, who registered the guests
in the guest book fashioned in
white and bordered, with pink
lace and tiny rosebuds. The lat-
ter was presided over by Mrs.
w. T. Hair and Mrs. Carl Callo-
way and held a fostoria punch
bowl with cups and surrounded
by plate favors. Both tables were
covered with delicate lace table
cloths and held floral offerings.
After the guests registered they
were ushered into the bedroom
where Mrs. Dick Burleson showed
the widely assorted gift arrayal
which lay in arrangement at the
feet of huge “Sir Stork,” his
blessed bundle gripped in his
beak. He stood in the center of
the bed, presiding supremely over
the gifts, and was held to the
heardboard by three spiral reins
of blue and white crepe, each
set off by a large separate bow.
