termined, city firemen said today.
The fire evidently broke out in
a closet in the bathroom, Fire
Marshall Eugene Cook said. Fire-

vell, 54, of Dallas. Services were

Rider Rites Set
Friday in Denton
Funeral services will be held for
Mrs. Emma I. Rider, 92, of Whit-
ney, in the Jock Schmitz and Son
Chapel Friday at ft a.m.
Mrs. Rider died Tuesday. She
was living with her daughter,
Mrs. Tom McCowan formerly of
Denton, at the time of her death.
Mrs. Rider la survived by two
daughters: Mrs. McCowan and
Mrs. Mel Fickas of Phoenix, Aris.;
two grandchildren, including Mrs.
Ray Moore of Denton; four great-
grandchildren and five great-great-
grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Roselawn
Memorial Park.
