Sets Band Concert
For December
Monday evening was the reg-
ular meeting time for the Orch-
ard PTA in the elementary
school gymnasium. The session
began at 7:30 p.m. with the in-
vocation by Leonard Oberhoff,
band director.
A member gave notice, as re-
quired by the by-laws, that she
would move at the next meet-
ing to amend the constitution
and by-laws to change the
monthly meeting times to four
meetings per year. This will be
discussed and voted on at the
December meeting. Two-thirds
majority vote will be required
for approval of the change.
The program was in the form
of a film, “Not By Chance.” It
illustrated the teaching and
training involved in the prep-
aration of a person to become a
teacher.
Refreshments were donated
by Mrs. Florian Sliva, Mrs.
Clarence Rochen, Mrs. C. M.
Jackson, Mrs. Sidney Vacek, and
Mrs. Lester Reinecker. During
the month Mrs. Herman Kellner
