the City Council of Garden Clubs
in their final meeting of the year,
at her home Tuesday afternoon.
The meeting was opened by
prayer by Mrs. T. D. Brock. Fol-
lowing a brief business session,
Mrs. George O'Neal reported that
cash awards had been made to the
Litterbug poster contest winners
from each of the three ward
schools. The Council gave a vote
of thanks to Mrs. O'Neal and Mrs.
C. C. Ehemann for their work in
the Utterburg Campaign.
It was announced that the Coun-
cil will take part in the workshop
to be held at the American Legion
Hall in the near future. The work-
shop will be directed by Mrs. A.
M. Aikin of Paris, Governor of Dis-
trict 4.

tie Gale Gaddis, a 1958 graduate
of Mount Pleasant High School,
with a luncheon Saturday. The af
fair was held at "Hearthside,"
home of the hostess.
A pink and white theme was car-
ried out in the decorations of the
entertaining rooms and luncheon
table. The table, overlaid with
white linen, was centered with an
arrangement of white and pink
stock, pink rose buds and foliage.
