New modern flourescent light
fixtures pre being installed in the
Post Office in the first remodel-
ing of the lighting system since
the building was constructed in
J924, Postmaster L. A. Adams
said.
Contractor on the project is
Tom Marti,n of Atlanta. The Gen-
eral Services Administration, Dal-
las, is supervising the work.
Forty-three fixtures are being
installed throughout the'build-
ing except in the lobby. Each
fixture consists of four 40-watt
flourescent tubes.
The project, began last Friday,
is due to be completed Tuesday,
Adams said.

cotton growers has been sched-
uled for Friday at 2 p.m. in the
National Guard Armory, County
Agent W. W. Grisham Jr. an-
nounced Tuesday.
