LBBOCK, Texas Dec. 29.—The
city council last night unantmously
voted to erect a municipal electric
' Aght plant to be operated in Conner-
i* tion with its present owned water
work* and sewerage disp osn A plant.
Estimates and bids bad already been
: prepared and submitted. Contracts
g have been signed and the material will
i be shipped in immediately, the con-
. struction to start at once. The plant
will noon be completed and the serv-
ice in operation by July 1. The plant
will cost approximately 140.0*0. The
municipal plant will riart delivering

rate will be lowered so that the an-
