ing. owing to renewed nervousness
over the coal situation, less bullish
spot advices, higher call money rates,
the continued weakness of foreign
exchange and scattered southern sell-
ing.
March broke to 14.12 late in the
afternoon and closed at 34.36 with
the general list closing steady at
a net decline of 40 to 71 points .
