royal party marched. An arch was
formed by the batons of the pep
leaders.* Queen Marcene in her
finery of pink net over pink and
wearing a white robe and silver
crown, was escorted by Irvin
Brightwell and Earl Murphy, cap-
tains of the 1938 team. Her at-
tendants were eight duchesses in
evening dresses of pastel colors.
