Intoxication blamed for
streaking incident
Baytown police arrested a Baytown man in the 1700
block of N. Alexander Dr. Tuesday afternoon after re-
ceiving reports of a nude man running in the area of Ruth
and 5th Street.
Baytown police would later locate 39-year-old Mat-
thew Rauen at N. Alexander and Pleasant Street, where
he was walking down the middle of the roadway.
“The male was rambling incoherently and appeared to
be intoxicated on some type of narcotic,” Lt. Steve Dor-
ris, Baytown police spokesman, said.
Rauen was taken into custody without incident and
transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked on
charges of public intoxication.
Missing Person
Clarence Green Jr., 82, was reported missing Tuesday
night.
His family said Green left the residence in the 2100
block of Taft Drive around 11 a.m. Tuesday and had not
returned.
The family checked all the surrounding stores and hos-
pitals for Green to no avail.
