Choose Trump every time
I don’t know anyone who supports President Trump
because he’ll “shake things up in Washington,” despite
Frank Butcher’s mystical “heard most often” survey. The
Trump supporters I know support Trump for his accom-
plishments, values and agenda. Although I don’t always
appreciate Trump’s tone and style (which is what liberals
constantly rant about and the only thing the lame stream
media covers) Trump’s supporters overlook that because
of what he does for Americans.
We appreciate his tax reform, criminal justice refonn,
immigration enforcement, foreign policy regarding Iran,
N. Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan, that Tramp holds the EU,
Canada, Mexico, the WHO, UN and others accountable,
and his efforts to support states fighting the pandemic.
The other choice (clueless and creepy Joe Biden) is
open borders, infanticide, releasing criminals, defunding
police, appeasement of Iran andN. Korea, continued theft
of intellectual property by China, a poor economy choked
with Green New Deal regulations, and spending us broke
by giving away free college, canceling college debt, pay-
ing illegals, paying reparations, paying minimum income,
and free health care. (I’m sure I missed other freebies he’s
promised.) If those are the traditional ways that Frank’s
Uncle Bob wants for us, I’ll choose Tramp every time.

Governor issues mask order to fight COVID-19
Faced with skyrocketing numbers of new COVID-19
cases and hospitalizations, Gov. Greg Abbott has ordered
that face coverings must be worn in public across most
of the state.
Health officials say we are at a critical juncture in this
pandemic in the greater Houston region and everyone
should comply with this order.
Texans age 10 and older are now required to wear a
face mask while inside public spaces. That includes gro-
cery stores, salons and government buildings, and public
transportation. There are exceptions — if you’re eating,
drinking, exercising or if you have a health condition or
participating in a religious service or voting.
Mask order violators can be fined up to $250.
We applaud the governor for taking this step. The sci-
ence is clear that wearing a mask will help contain the
spread of COVID-19.
Remember the most effective ways to protect yourself
from the virus: keep at least six feet distance from others,
wear a mask in public spaces, wash your hands frequently
and avoid touching your face.
We’re in the midst of a global pandemic. Think of the
health care professionals and front-line responders who
wear a face mask every day, all day. Do your part to help
stem this public health crisis and wear a mask.
It’s mandatory now. More importantly, it’s the right
