Open in Two Cities
Dentonites have a choice of three
civil service positions If they can
pass examinations in either Dallas
or Fort Worth.
The Dallas exams, open to any
resident of Denton County over
18 yean of age, will qualify per-
sons as supply clerks. The posi-
tion pays from $3,775 to $4,490 a
year.

40-Year Pin Given To
TP&L Man in Collin
McKINNEY (Special) - Obe F.
McCallum of McKinney, superin-
tendent of the Texas Power &
Light Company plant here, has
been honored on completion of 40
years of service with the compa-
ny.
He was presented a 40-year ser-
vice emblem by E. C. Mornhinweg,
superintendent of generation. Mc-
Callum is one of TP&L's oldest
employes in point of service.
McCallum first wept to work
for TP&L in March of 1918 as a
laborer. He advanced to operating
engineer and, in June of 1942, be-
came superintendent of the Mc-
Kinney plant.

Model Home Set
For Sanger Area •
SANGER (Staff) — Construc-
tion of a model home in Sanger’s
first organized housing develop-
ment project is due to get under-
way soon, developer Harold Eas-
ley said.
Water and sewage lines current-
ly are being installed in the 28-
home addition. Location of the de-
velopment is east of the Sanger
elementary school.
Financing for homes in the re-
stricted addition will be available
through FHA and veterans admin-
istration facilities, he said. Sever-
al FHA-approved plans are avail-
able for selection of buyers.
