WHICH ONE'S RIGHT?
' Courthouse employes probably suffered a real twinge
of conscience Saturday morning. Due at 8 a.m. the
big time-piece on the left put their arrival at 9. But,
on the east side of the square time marched on Sat-
urday afternoon with only an hour to go for harried
shoppers. Local electricians took care of the court-
house clock’s problem Monday afternoon and time
passed smoothly. Photographer Jim Blanton took a
picture of the courthouse clock, then turned and shot
the clock at Denton County National Bank, which, in-
cidentally was correct.

Stating that the older generation
, has basically failed in. its efforts
for a world of peace and security,
the Rev. Mr. Sparkman said youth
in executive positions can achieve
these aims through witnessing for
Christ. He listed three points nec-
essary for accomplishing such an
aim: knowledge of the subject,
to know and live a belter life and
a better way; consistency in each
individual life to support what they
say and how they live; and a
fanaticism in striving to win oth-
ers to their ideals.
Serving as master of ceremon-

pastor of the First Baptist Church.
A recreation period was held fol-

In addition to First Baptist and
First Methodist, other cooperating
churches sponsoring the event are
Central Baptist and the Assembly
of God Church.
