KITCHENER, Ont. (UP) —The
right of firemen to sleep while on
night duty was defended by Mayor
William Mossison of Hamilton, and
Fire Marshal W.. J. Scott, of Toron-

Aiderman Albert Brubacher
charged that “firemen sleep eight
of the 14 hours they are on night
duty." ’ ,
Mayor Mossison saw no reason
why firemen should not sleep while
on night duty. 'That's why we
have beds at our fire stations,” he
