Dry mustard for plasters and
talcum powder to applv when the
plaster is taken off.
Equal parts of linsee 1 oil and
lime water beaten until tney are
an emulsion. The very finest rem
edv for burns and scalds. The
mixture shoultL be spread evenly
on linen with a knife and bound
on the injured spot. It is a sure
cure.
Bicarbonate of soda. A small
portion dissolved in a glass of hot
water will relieve even a severe at
tack of indigestion or bilious colic
A large dose a teaspoonful acts
as an emetic and. is very good
and cleaning and healing to the
stomach.
Lemons for cold and hot lemon
ade. When given boiling hot will
relieve a very severe cough or
cold.
Rubbed on the scalp cleanses
from dandruff.
Lemon juice and - sugar. A
palliative for whooping cough.
Ether will take fruit stains out
of white dresses also grease from
men's clothes.
Applied to the face cures sunburn.
