Chicken Dish Recipes
Miss Nette Shultz, former
Cooke county home demonstra-
tion agent, who is now an in-
tructor in the Rural Arts build-
ing at TSCW, Denton, is perfect-
ing frozen chicken-dish recipes
for a Dallas foods processor.
The experimental work went on
in 1945 from November to June
and was resumed in October.
1948. Miss Shultz was instructed
to develop a chicken a la king
recipe, but furthered her project
by mixing up other chicken
dizhes likely to please the public.
“Every precaution must be
taken against spoilage in prepar-
ing the products," Miss Shultz
explained. “Quick frozen food
must be handled as carefully as
canned food."
, Miss Shultz seems to think that
within a a few years a person
will only need to be able to
strike a match to heat a box of
quick frozen meat or vegetables
or fruit to keep a family well-fed.
