This program, which is planned for all
domestic Exxon employees, gave an
overview of all benefits with an emphasis
on thrift.
The second phase of the program,
which will be presented in 1991, will
focus on retirement income, survivor
protection and other benefits the com-
pany provides such as educational
refunds and matching grants.
The first phase should be complete by
year end and the second phase should
begin in April 1991.
"There have been a number of changes
in benefits during the past few years,"
said Dave Clements, Human Resources
Manager. "And it’s been a challenge to
keep up.
"The sessions will help employees
more completely understand their
benefits packages. They are designed to
present the latest information in a
straight-forward manner without a lot of
technical benefits terminology and to
give opportunities to ask questions. The
greatest emphasis has been placed on
the thrift plan for the first phase of the
program because that’s where the
greatest change has taken place."
