My apologies for not having an
article or Resident of the week in
last week's paper, my husband was
in the hospital and I couldn’t seem
to get it all done! Anyway, there
will be no Resident of the Week
again this week; however I hope to
have "all my ducks in a row” by
next week. Thank you for your
patience and understanding. Also.
Johnny and I want to thank all of
you for your prayers, calls, visits,
cards and words of support while he
was hospitalized and since his
return home. He is much better at
this time.
Members of the Johnson
County Genealogical Society will
be in the nursing home sun room on
Sunday. November 10, 2002 from
3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. They will be
here to help residents and their fam-
ily members fill out Family Group
Sheets as a Christmas gift for their
family. We urge you to come and
help your resident fill out the simple
forms and learn firsthand about
y our family and how to preserve its
history. We did this last year and
had a lot of fun. By the way. this is
for the public as well as the nursing
home residents; so come out and
join us. There is no charge.
