Letter to the Editor
To All Parents and Supporters of
Grandview Junior High and
High School Athletes:
My name is David Needham
and I was recently elected as
President of the Grandview All
Sports Booster Club. Ed
Brumbalow was elected as Vice-
President. First of all I would like
to thank all of this year's officers
for the outstanding job they did,
especially Marshall Bosher and
Lisa Atkinson. Marshall along
with his wife Casey and Lisa along
with her husband Matt put in
countless hours of service to ensure
all events went off as planned. My
hat is off to these folks and if I
could convince them I would love
to have them continue to lead this
organization. But Marshall, Casey,
Matt and Lisa have done their duty.
It is now time for others to step up
and keep the All Sports Booster
Club as an effective way to support
our school, coaches and most of all
our kids.
However, this will require that
parents get involved and participate
in the meetings and events. Our
first meeting will be on Monday,
May 22, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. in the
High School mezzanine. I under-
stand this is a stressful and
extremely busy time for everyone
but we must prepare for the com-
ing year. I would love to have as
much input as possible and I am
open to anyone’s ideas. I especial-
ly want to encourage participation
from parents of Junior High ath-
letes and parents of all athletes
who are in sports such as tennis,
golf, or cross-country. All sports
are important and we will support
them.
If you have kids in athletics
and have wanted to be involved
now is your chance. Consider this
letter an open invitation to have
your say. Football and Volleyball
are less than three months away. I
look forward to working with
everyone.
. Respectfully,
David Needham
