Legislature, all the senators
must run for office.
Last time such a drawing

Nine senators who will

Mr. Snoop informed Alice
that he owned the apartment

Is Mr. Snoop correct? Can
he enter the apartments of his
tenants without their per-
mission?
. Mr. Snoop is wrong. A ten-
ant has the sole and exclu-
sive right to the occupation
and control of his apartment
during the existence of his
term. Therefore, as a general
rule, a landlord has no right
to enter the apartment of his
tenant without the tenant's
consent, unless the landlord
has reserved such a right in
the lease. An unauthorised
entry or intrusion by a land-
lord on his tenant’s premises
constitutes a trespass to the
same extent as an entry or
intrusion thereon by a stran-
ger.

SENATORS "DRAW”
IN JANUARY
A small glass bowl and* a

of Texas Senators, come
January.
Once each 10 years,
Texas' 31 senators must
"draw straws” to determine
who will serve a four year
term, and who will serve for
two years.
Drawing is required by the
state constitution.
Normally, half the state
