Girl Scouts of Troop 330
are issuing a cordial invita-
tion to the public to attend
an open house and movie on
Monday, February 24 at 7:30
p.m. in the First Methodist ,
Church.
The 30 minute sound movie
in technicolot is titled
"Journey Into Friendship".
It was filmed for the Wald
Association of Girl Scouts
and Girl Guides in fou dif-
ferent countries, Mexico, Pe-
ru, Denmark and Ceylon and
shows Girl Scouts in troop
activities in these countries.
This movie has a wide aud-
ience appeal whether a per-
son is interested in Girl
Scouts, fnndship among nat-
ions or a colaful travelogue.-

The club held its annual
meeting this week for elect-
ion of officers fa the Rotary
year beginning July 1st. The
nominating committee con-
neting of J. D. Quesenbury,
Jr., chairman, Sherman Ingle,
and Doug Carter recommend-
ed the following members:
For President, C. J. Wimer;
Vice-president, Ray Hum;
Secretary, C. L. Waters; As-
sistant Secretary, Robert
Harper. There were no nom-
inations from the floor. The
nominees were elected.
John Doug Harper suggest-
ed and then moved that the
club have a Ladies' Night
once a quarter, beginning in
March, cancelling the noon
meeting for that day, and
starting with the fourth Tues-
day in March which will be
March 24th. The motion car-
ried. It was decided also to
notify neighboring clubs and
to ask fa reservations.
M. and Mrs. Bud Siratt and
family visited in Burleson on
Sunday with the Harley Lacy
family, former Grandview res-
idents who recently moved to
Burleson from Ft. Worth.
