Willie Berry Davis, resident
of Kaufman, Route 3, died in
a Kaufman hospital Monday
night.
Funeral services were held
from Antioch Baptist Church
in Kaufman at 2 p.m. Wednes-
day with the Rev. Charles
Hays and the Rev. E. H. Dic-
kerson officiating. Interment
was in Kaufman Cemetery
under the direction of Ander-
son-Clayton Funeral Home.
M. Davis was born in Ellis
County, April 20, 1894. He
grew up in that area and in
1930 moved to near Venus.
He was a farmer and was en-
gaged in that work there and

in 1943 moved to Grandview,
where he lived for seventeen
years. He moved to his pres-
ent home near Kaufman in
1959.

Surviving him are his wife;
two sons, T. L. Davis of
Granbury and J. W. Davis of
Kaufman, five grandchildren
and six great-grandchildren.

prominert land owner, real
estate agent and former
school teacher, passed away
shortly after noon Wednes-
day, April 8 in Memorial Hos-
pital, Cleburne, where he
was peparing to undergo
surgery. He had suffered a
heart condition for several
years, which claimed his
life test Wednesday.
Wallace Robert Harper was
born October 4, 1909 in Hill
County, near the site of his
residence at the time of his
demise, on Route 1.
His parents were Bruce D.
and Bessie Lee Gill Harper.
