The Zebras went back to
DeSoto High School for the second
year to play a Bi-District game.
And for the second year they were
to play Crossroads. In last year's
game the Zebras started out slow
but won the game 66 to 46.
Thursday night's game was a
lot like last year. Crossroads scored
the first six points. The Zebras
settled down and started making
their shots. Crossroads' Robert
Hughes scored 7 in the first quarter
but was held scoreless the last three
quarters. By the end of the first
quarter Crossroads had 17 and
Grandview 14. Coach Bentz said,
The players were a little nervous
in the first quarter but the settled
down and played." • One of the
Zebras' Bubba Wynn missed the
game due to an illness. This put
some people in positions they
weren't use to playing.
The first half of the second
quarter belonged to the Zebras.
They outscored Crossroads 20 to 4.
In the run five of the Zebras scored.
