For present rims are real balloon tires and not to be confused with thlso- ’
called "semi-balloon"' or "balloon type" tires on the market 'today, vrWf -
Cooper Balloon Cord is a FULL Balloon Tire, made in a balloon tive'mold,
with the latest and most approved methods of balloon tire construction,
flexible side walls, and balloon design tread—a FULL balloon tire in every
sense of the word, whether for present high diameter wheels or for the- low
diameter 20-inch or 21-inch wheels.
Our 4.95 is just as much a full balloon tire for the wheel and the car to
which it applies as our 6.60 is a full balloon tire for its particular wheel
and car. A full balloon tire can be made for a Chevrolet as well as for a
Cadillac. There is a difference,- of course, in size. But if you wear a No.
8 shoe and I wear No. 11 shoe, it doesn't mean that you don’t get a full „
pair of shoes. You get a full pair of shoes, anil so do I, the only differenoa
being in size. And this difference applies to Balloon Tires in very much
the same way.
The Cooper Clincher ('ord, 23x4.40 which fits clincher rims, has proved 1
practical and satisfactory as is evidenced by the tremendous demand for
this size and type and the number of satisfied Ford owners that are new
using it. Here, too, is a FULL Balloon cord tire that will fit the clincher "

rims of Fords or other small cars and that can be put on or taken off just
as readily as the ordinary clincher cord or clincher fabric tire.
As yet deales and distributors have not stocked, to any considerable ex-
tent, the balloon tires for low diameter wheels. Therefore, in case a re-
placement should be necessary when touring, the motorist may experience
difficulty and delay in securing a new casing of the requisite size and type.
In case of the Cooper Balloon Cord for present wheels, (which is a FULL
balloon tire in every sense of the word) there will be little difficulty in se-
curing a replacement tire, and in an emergency, an ordinary high pressure
cord tire on even a fabric tire may be used.

Commissioner J. T. Harrel stated
stated to the Reporter man Tuesday I
that he believes 80 per cent of the
work in Highway 10-A loading from
Glen Rose to the Erath county line I
has been completed.
Something like 10 miles of grad-1
ing has been done, much of the
gravel placed and most of the
bridges and culverts are in. There I
is a small stretch of road through
the Eehol’s farm that has not been I
finished yet. The bridge has been I
completed across the branch in this
field and will be ready for use as
soon as the dump can be completed.
Work began Monday on the
mountain just east of the Erath
county line where the heaviest ent I
on the route will be made. The
end of the road work is beginning I
to come around the corner and the
new year will find our road through
the county almost if not completed. I
