Enrollment lor the vacation
church school at the First Meth-
odist Church has neared the 900
mark, with 193 being enrolled
Wednesday.
Varied activitiesare being parti-
cipated in by children from the

Circle Meets
At a meeting of the Junior Wom-
en Circle of the First Christian
Church Tuesday morning at the
home of Mrs. Ahren Davis, 990
Ponder, Mn R. C. Wood gave the
devotional and Mrs. J. Burks gave
the World Call review.
Program feature was a review o'
"The Will of God" by Rev. O. L
Messenger. Jr., pastor.
A gift was presenaed to Mrs. Mes-

A refreshment course was served
to 18 members and guests.

Richard Earl Fletcher was his

The bride wore a white satin
gown with marquisette yoke out-
lined with heirloom lace. Her veil
was of the same lace, and she
wore a strand of pearls and car-
ried a white Bible topped by or-

couple are at ome now in Weath

Show School
At a meeting of the Denton Gar-
den Club and Garden Culture Club
members Wednesday morning in
the First Presbyterian Church.
U8A, plans were made for a flower
show school of instruction to be
held here Oct. 15-18.
Two nationally accredited flow-
er show judgts from out-of-town
will direct the course, presenting
four lectures on flower arrange-
ment, horticulture and flower
shows.
All people Interested will be in-
vited to attend the course. Mrs.
George Elbert, president, of the
Denton Ga:den Club announced.
Further plans will be announced.
