Text: “Dear Muggins — Thank you for your letter. School ends on Friday, Dec 16th and we will leave that same afternoon. I therefor hope. That Monday the 19th will be early enough for the meeting. If it is absolutely impossible to delay it that long I may be able to cut one day of school but it is a precedent I have to have established with my young man. I will probably see Cecile, Lyda Ann and Mary tomorrow as I think we’re all lunching with Sara and Fannie. Let me know your decision. Love to you and H[…]. Mary Jean.”
