back and would like to say that
Linda Grandison has done a
great job with the column the
last two weeks. She says I cant
leave anymore, but she really
did a fine job of reporting for the
community news.
I led my daughter Je and
granddaughter, Heather Spor-
ing, back to Ohio and then I
stayed there two weeks visiting
with them and with my brother,
Gene Swing and his wife Connie,
and my mother, Mae Cook and
my step-father, Vic Cook. I also
got to see one more of my grand-
daughters, Chris, and spend
some time with her. We all had
a great time at the home of my
sister, Vicki Lawwell, and her
husband Rick for a 4th of July
party. They played games,
swam, and ate plenty of good
food. When I left Ohio I went to
Georgia and picked up my
mother-in-law, Lou Cille Davis,
and brought her back here to
spend some time and visit for a
while.
Barbara and Dana Hollaway
went to Baton Rouge, La. and
Liberty, Miss, to visit with her
people last weekend. They saw
a family that they had not seen
in a long while. They had a good
time and a good trip.
Delane and Jame Atchley of
Springtown were weekend
guests of Max and Joan Fletcher.
They all attended the Bluegrass
Festival in Overton on Satur-
day.
