Mrs. Emer Seybold Seybold Guest Ranch Mineral Wells, Texas My dear rs. Seybold; I am very happy to have received your letter of January 3rd with your full statement in reply to my letter to you of December 27th. One of my brothers, Mr. Lee Kerapner, is evidently the member of the Keupner family who is a friend of your father, Mr. W. E. Pecor, as Lee remembers him very distinctly and pleasantly and is very glad to have heard of him through the medium of your letter. I regret, Mrs. Seybold, that I cannot, without violating a confidence, give you the source of the information disclosed in my letter of December 27th. I am willing to accept your statement in the premises; of this you can accept my assurance. Also, you can be assured that if and when Mrs. Kapner and I again visit Mineral Wells, we shall do ourselves the honor and pleasure of ac- cepting your kind invitation to give both families the opportunity of knowing each other better. With my very best wishes, I beg to remain Sincerely yours,
