visit the Center. There are new retired people moving to Ste-
phenville, and we want to make them feel welcome to the Senior
Citizens Center.

their daughter, Patricio Elaine, to Michael McCourt, son

OVEN-FRIED CHICKEN
1 :i cup wheat germ
‘a cup fine corn flake
crumbs

center of dish Pour gravy
into ends of dish and ar-
range 4 biscuits on gravy at
each end Return to oven.
Bake until biscuits are done
and brown, about 20 min-
utes Makes 4 servings
WHEAT GERM BISCUITS
1 cup unsifted flour
1 tbsp, sugar
2 tsps baking powder
*2 tsp salt
‘a cup wheat germ
2 tbsps. butter or
margarine
1 egg, beaten
‘a cup milk
Combine flour.-sugar, bak
ing powder and salt Sift into
bowl Stir in wheat germ.
Cut in butter or margarine
with pastry blender until
mixture resembles coarse
crumbs Add egg and milk.
Stir just until dry ingredients
are moistened Turn onto
lightly floured board and
knead lightly 10 to 12 strokes
Roll into an 8x4-inch rec-
tangle Using a floured knife
or cutter, cut into eight 2-
inch squares or circles. Ar-
range biscuits on gravy and
bake with chicken
