Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Minor re-
ceived a letter Friday from their
son, Cpl. Willie Ray Minor, the
I first since the war ended and he
is in the vicinity -of Yokohama,
Island ci Honshu, Japan and went
there from the southern Luzon
via plane. He is with the 11th
Airborne Division and among the
first to enter Japan. He wrote he
had a nice trip and the country
was beautiful and he had 74 points
and the quickest way home would
be too slow for him and tell every
one hello and he would enjoy
letters from all his friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Mac Glasscock
and family were visitors of Mr.
andn Mrs. Walter Banks Friday
night. Mr. Glasscck who was with
the Marines arrived here recently ,
from overseas.
