its best in bowl competition, but the Hogs have the speed
and the will to win.
Texas will be up against the nation’s number one team
in mighty Syracuse. The Steers have met a much stiffer
schedule with its 9-1 mark, and Syracuse is yet to prove
its worth against top-flight opposition. Syracuse does hold
a 20-18 win over Penn State, but the Nittany Lions may-
be a vastly overrated team on the basis of its one-sided
loss to a so-so Pittsburgh team.
