Kenneth E. Flatt of the Oak Ridge In3EGyof
Nuclear Studies, Oak Ridge, Tenn., will present
a demonstration lecture program, "This Atomic
World," in an assembly program at Brownwood
High School Monday. The program, sponsored by
the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, is presented
by the Oak Ridge institute, a nonprofit, education-
al corporation of 40 Southern universities and col-
leges, operating under contract with AEC. Flatt
holds a bachelor of science degree from Tennessee
Polytechnic Institute and has received special
training in nuclear science. Subjects to be covered
include atomic structure, the nucleus and radio-
activity, radiation biology and fission and fusion.
Flat will be available for clasroom sessions after
the progrem.
