Farmers have just about lost
their patience, and to illustrate:
One Denton County farmer sev-

By SCOTT BROOKSHIRE
Reord-Chronicle Staff Writer,
Denton County’s farmers have a
city problem. And if the city
residents don’t do something about
it there is going to be trouble—in
court.
It has been a headache for years
for the farmer, but lately it is
getting worse and there just isn’t
any excuse for it.

make city-county relations a lot
better.
A sanitary land fill has been
opened at the City Sewer Plant.
There is a paved road most of the
way to the plant Signs are going
to be erected on East McKinney
Street and Woodrow Lane to point
the way to the fill. It is open from
7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays.
On weekends the fill is open to
the public from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
When the fill is open there is al-
ways a man attending it who will
show citizens where to dump their
trash.
At the end of each day a bull-
dozer "walks” over all the 24-hour-
collection and mashes it flat. The
bulldozer men covers the entire
collection with dirt. When a trench
fills up, another one is dug
Health menaces are eliminated
and no offensive odors are present.
Don’t take " "trash dumping”
lightly. It could get you in jail or
have you paying a court fine.
