son projects with foreign students
and visitors to invite students to
their homes for week-ends and va-
cations.
“Through Public Affairs com-
mittees, Altrusans will be asked
to intensify action on safety pro-
grams, Mental health, programs
for youth, and provide more ser-
vices to help senior citizens help
themselves.
“Through Vocational Informa-;
tion committees,” Dr. Boothe
continues. “Altrusa Clubs will ‘
be urged to sponsor more "Jobs
After 40” clinics, arrange more
on-the-job training for youth, ca-
reer conferences in schools, and
give occupational materials to,
school libraries.”
Also at the Denver convention,
Altrusa International will an-
nounce its decision to aid the
Indo-American Club in Chen-
gannur, Kerala State, South In-
dia, a project to build friendship!
between India and North America.
